Privacy Policy
How Numank Numerology collects, uses and protects the information you share with us. Last updated 16 October 2026.
Who we are
Numank Numerology is a numerology practice run by Raghavendra Hebbur from 3rd Cross, Saraswati Road, Ajit Layout, Virgo Nagar, Bengaluru 560049, Karnataka, India (the same office as his Vastu practice, Vardhini Vastu). In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Numank Numerology. This policy covers numank.com and the Numank app at app.numank.com. For any privacy question, write to raghavendrra@numank.com or message +91 97391 05574 on WhatsApp.
What we collect
This website has no contact form and no public sign-up. We receive personal information only when you choose to send it, usually on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. For a numerology reading that can include:
- your name as you use it and as it appears on your documents, phone number and email address;
- dates of birth (and, where you give them, time and place of birth) of you and anyone the reading is about, such as a spouse, partner or child;
- names you are considering for yourself, a baby or a business, mobile, house or vehicle numbers, and important dates;
- for Vastu work, the property location, floor plans and photographs.
If you ask for a reading about a child or another person, please share their details only if you are their parent or guardian or have their permission.
The free numerology calculator
The free calculator works entirely in your browser. The name and date of birth you type are not sent to us or stored on our server.
The Numank app (app.numank.com)
The app is available only to people we give an account to. To run sign-in we keep your username, a securely hashed password, and, where an account is limited to one device, a random device key stored as a hash together with a short device label (for example “iPhone ยท Safari”). The app sets a session cookie and a device cookie for this purpose. To protect accounts, failed sign-in attempts are counted per IP address for a short time. Names and birth dates you enter in the app are saved in your own browser (local storage) and are not uploaded to our server.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and quote a fee.
- To schedule and conduct a consultation by phone, WhatsApp, video or in person.
- To prepare your reading or report and answer follow-up questions about it.
- To keep basic records of consultations for our own accounting and quality checks.
- To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the website so we can improve it.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not publish your name, birth details or reading in testimonials, articles or marketing unless you give written permission first.
Who else sees it
Your messages pass through the services you use to contact us: WhatsApp (Meta), email providers or your phone network, and their own privacy policies apply to that part. The website and app are hosted by Hostinger, which processes server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) on our behalf for security and performance. The site uses Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, to measure visits; Google processes that data under its own policy. The language switcher (GTranslate) can send page text to a translation service when you choose another language. A Hostinger marketing script (Reach) loads on the site; we do not currently run email campaigns through it. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.
Cookies
The site does not set advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and sessions. A page cache (LiteSpeed) and the hosting platform may use strictly necessary technical cookies. The app’s session and device cookies are needed for sign-in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, though analytics will not count your visit.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation records and reports for up to five years so we can answer questions about a reading later. Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are deleted within twelve months. App account details are deleted when the account is closed. You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, and withdraw consent you gave earlier. Send the request to raghavendrra@numank.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
